Integral theorems

In this section, we describe two important theorems that link the material on the definitions of the divergence and curl with the material on line and surface integrals in. The theorems discussed here are the divergence theorem and Stokes' theorem. Before looking into these theorems however, we first discuss an important theorem known as Green's theorem which gives a relationship between line integrals on closed paths and double integrals.
